  • Andre Rivera - Director & Founder - Brass, Guitars

    Andre Rivera graduated from Augustana College as a Golden Apple Scholar with a degree in music education and minor in jazz studies. At Augustana he was principal trumpet in the Augustana Symphonic Band, Jazz Ensemble, Orchestra and Jazz Combos. Between coursework Andre developed programing, trained student recording engineers and operated WAUG.FM, Augustana radio, as its general manager.

    After graduating Andre has been involved with multiple professional acts as a trumpet player, most notably directing Here for the Summer and Salsavera, rock and salsa bands whom have headlined themselves and opened for international and national touring acts. His recordings have been featured in commercials and NPR's LAist podcast "WILD".

    He also plays in the Monday Night Jazz Band at the college of Lake County and directs the Round Lake Middle School band program.

  • Sam Rivera - Assistant Director - Saxophone, Worship, Composition, Jazz Improvisation

    Sam Rivera is a Saxophone instructor from Round Lake Heights, IL. He graduated from Elmhurst University with a double Major in Jazz Studies and Music Business. Sam was Lead Alto in the Elmhurst Lab Band, Jazz combo, as well as 1st tenor in the Mark Colby Sax combo.

    Sam is also known for touring in different cities in China, and opened for different jazz artists like Ernie Watts, Carl Saunders, and Bob McChesney. He had the privilege to play with Tom “Bones” Malone of the Lieutenant Dan Band and has opened for Flock of Seagulls and played for special guest General John Kelly of the United States in Here for the Summer. Sam has been invited as a special guest to various churches around the United States.

  • Lyra Uy - Enrollment Specialist, Sales Associate

    Lyra is our newest member to join the team. She is currently auditioning to play in collegiate bands at Carthage College, Kenosha.

  • London Larson - Enrollment Specialist, Sales Associate

    London is a senior in high school and is new to our team this year. She is training to become our sales engineer and education assistant. She is knowledgeable about theatre and hopes to have a career in set design.

  • Cyndi Salata - Trumpet, French Horn, Flute

    Cyndi is a versatile multi-instrumentalist, performer, and educator with experience across classical, jazz, and commercial music. As a trumpeter, she held principal cornet with the Prairie and Illinois Brass Bands for 12 seasons and is an eight-time prize winner in the North American Brass Band Association’s solo competitions. She has been a finalist for both the Washington, D.C. Navy Band and “Pershing’s Own,” and was offered a position with Royal Caribbean’s jazz ensemble.

    She currently performs with The Prohibition Orchestra of Chicago, The Falconaires Orchestra, and leads her own jazz trio, with past appearances at Six Flags Great America. An award-winning flutist, Cyndi has earned over 30 solo awards since 2021, including 1st place at the Festival of Flutes and the Utah Flute Association National Competition (Advanced Division).

    She also performs on horn with the Round Lake Concert Band and Processional Brass, and has over 10 years of experience teaching private lessons and group classes.

  • Anthony Divozzo - Drum Set, Percussion

    Anthony DiVozzo, who with his spirit and non-stop energy, is constantly striving to take drumming to a new level. Tony joined the Navy Big Band program after high school and was stationed in Hawaii for 5 years and then at Great Lakes for 5 years where he toured the United States in the band. After his tenure in the navy band, Tony joined a heavy metal band called "Amulance" and toured in Germany. Tony's influences are Niel Peart, Billy Cobham and Louie Bellson. Tony is also fluent in Italian and Japanese.

  • Joe Quarrato - Drum Set, Percussion

    Joe Quaratto is a drum instructor with decades of playing experience in rock, funk and R&B bands. He’s opened for national and international acts with the band Here for the Summer and Salsavera.

  • Noah Kublank - Violin

    Noah Kublank is a violin instructor with a B.A. in Violin Performance from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. He is known for playing classical and contemporary works for violin.

  • Thomas Power - Guitars, Ukulele, Bass, Piano, Jazz Improvisation

    Thomas Power is a North Shore based guitarist and bassist. Hailing from Libertyville, IL. Mr. Power has over 15 years of experience playing stringed instruments, encompassing instruments such as violin, ukulele, and the upright bass. Mr. Power is finishing his Music Education degree at Millikin University, specializing in jazz and commercial music styles. He also is one of the staple members of the band 'Here For The Summer'. Whether he's strumming his guitar or holding down the rhythm on bass, Thomas's versatility and dedication to his craft shine through in every note.
